The MWMC Incubator is the entrepreneurial side of this business. This means, we either build out businesses or creative projects based on ideas we want to see happen in the world, or we partner with a client and become their co-founder. Of course, we love doing projects for our clients, but we also love being the entrepreneurs behind the project as well.

Introducing Skybird Drone Pilot Academy

Skybird Done Pilot Academy is a Drone Pilot FAA Certification education platform that utilizes AI Education Design to create story-oriented learning modules.

When myself and a good friend decided we wanted to get FAA Drone Pilot Certified, we signed up for an online class to walk us through everything we’d need to know to pass the exam. While the course was extremely well put together, professional, and well-thought-out, it was also very much oriented to left-brain learners. Meaning, there’s a video explaining the nuts and bolts of everything you need to know, followed by a few practice questions.

In the process of taking the exam, we started playing around with ChatGPT to make stories out of the the modules. Some of these we’d ask to write in the tone of Mark Twain, Haruki Murakami, J.R.R. Tolkein, or even a Seinfeld episode. Soon enough, we realized that this was helping us take in the information in. You can ask ChatGPT to describe the key facts you want the story to include in a way that would be embedded in dialogue, include analogies and metaphors based on character personalities, add bits of humor to keep things light and entertaining, as well as bring in some philosophical and inspirational undertones.

Commercial Drone Pilot Careers Are A New & Growing Field of Opportunity

In today’s day and age, as we move further into the 20’s, technology is only going to become a larger and larger part of our life. In some ways, this really sucks. In some ways, I personally hate it. But, at the ripe age of 35, I’m old enough to have learned you need to embrace what’s coming your way with momentum, while also finding ways to even it out and keep calm in your own life.

That said, commercial drone pilot careers could be an incredible opportunity for people who want hands-on, in-real-life careers that don’t necessarily mean constantly being sedentary, sitting in front of a computer. For me, it’s a big reason I decided I wanted to learn. As much as a I love website design, I also have a hard time sitting in front of the screen every single day. I love working with clients, but I prefer a few clients at a time, and then other side gigs that fulfill other parts of my life and personality.

That said, here’s a look at different career opportunities for commercial drone pilots. These are the career opportunities we want to help people access, by passing their FAA Drone Pilot Exam through our educational platform.
